Hello Karl, my name is Henry Tarango. I did a presentation in Anton a while back on the HOME OCC program to see if the city/community was interested on South Plains Community Action submitting a proposal on behalf of the city. At that time the city approved for us to proceed with the proposal. The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs have not released the proposal application phase since our last meeting. It is my understanding that TDHCA Board will meet June 26 to release the proposal application phase. Once they release the application phase, we will start on putting a proposal together. This might take about two months for submission and another three to four months for application approval for award. I am actually guessing on client application intakes in Anton in early 2009.
